高度な科学技術を駆使して製品が開発されている現代において、オープンイノベーションは、迅速に最新技術を活用して研究開発を行う上で極めて重要です。特に、大学は、オープンイノベーションを先導する組織として、地域における企業の抱える問題を解決することで、地域の発展に貢献するとともに、人材の育成と産業の創出に資することが期待されております。このような背景から、熊本大学は、令和5年にオープンイノベーションセンターを設置いたしました。オープンファシリティ運営システムを運用することで、全学の研究用設備・機器をデータベース化して、可視化できるようにいたしました。これにより、単に機器利用のみならず、広く学外のみなさまと共同研究の機会を提供し、技術人材の育成を行うとともに、新産業が生み出されることを願っております。学内外のみなさまにおかれましては、どうかお気軽にお問合せ・ご利用相談を行っていただけますと幸いでございます。

企業及び地方自治体等との連携を強化し、地域の発展へ貢献する人材の育成・産業の創出に積極的に貢献し、また、イノベーション・コモンズを強力に推進するため、令和５年４月1日、オープンイノベーションセンターを設置しました。新たに「オープンファシリティ運営システム」を構築しサービスの向上に努め、機器共用の促進だけではなく、熊本大学と産業界との連携を強化し、広く学内外との共同研究の創出や、技術人材の育成を更に拡充し、研究者の研究活動支援の更なる向上を目指しています。

オープンイノベーションは、オープンファシリティ運営システムを取り入れ、産業界との連携を強化し、産学官金連携（共同研究等）の拡大による研究力の強化、大型装置（ソフトを含む）の共用促進と、学内外への利用促進を図ります。研究設備・機器を効果的・効率的に運用し、研究者の研究活動を促進します。

For open innovation, we will adopt an open facility management system, strengthen cooperation with industry, strengthen research capabilities by expanding industry-academia-government-finance collaboration (joint research, etc.), promote sharing of large equipment (including software), We will promote use inside and outside the university. We operate research facilities and equipment effectively and efficiently to promote the research activities of researchers.

• 分析・解析機器はできるだけ共同で使用します。

• 装置供出者の優先権を認め、一定の占有率を保証します。
  Approving instrument providersʼ priority and allow certain share of their usage time.
• 装置予約管理システムで課金・維持・管理を行います。
  Payments, maintenance, and management are processed on the equipment reservation system.
• 段階的に学内外にオープン化します。
  Open to inside and outside university in steps.

• 学術研究のために設備を利用する本学以外の大学又は公的機関に所属する者

• その他管理責任者が特に認めた者
